Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for processing invoices for payment in accordance with Accounting Policies and Procedure Guides
· Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned Balance sheet accounts, including documentation to support all balances along with Trial Balance template.
· Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
· Responsible for maintaining fixed assets, Insurance, Intangible and prepaid schedules.
· Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
· Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions; assists with review of items prepared by accounting clerical staff.
· Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
· Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
· Prepares ad hoc/special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends for both Finance and Operations.
· Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
· Effectively communicates with Accounts Payable, Payroll and other departments.
· Accomplishes goals by performing the daily tasks assigned.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Interfaces with external auditors to provide supporting documentation as needed during annual audits.
· Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies regarding taxes.
· Supports and prepares Revenue Recognition entries, operating and capital expenditures.

Accrual Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting Skills, Strong Interpersonal Communication, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Financial analysis, US GAAP, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry, Great Plains Management, General Math Skills, Intermediate Excel Skills, Multi-site Healthcare background
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant Three to five years’ experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or four to six years’ experience in corporate accounting or combination of above
CPA preferred
