**Job Summary:**
CareSpot is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering quality care to our patients. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for triaging patients, performing various medical procedures, administering medications, and ensuring the smooth flow of patient care.

**Qualifications:**
- Completion of a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or related program OR possession of an active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant certification OR a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience OR a licensed CNA with phlebotomy skills.
- Preferably, previous experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic.

**Responsibilities:**
- Triage patients, record vital signs, and update patient charts.
- Conduct blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and assist with lab work.
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers.
- Prepare examination rooms, assist with procedures, and escort patients.
- Handle patient check-ins, verify insurance, and process payments.

**Requirements:**
- Graduation from a relevant program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening through AHCA.
