**Job Summary:**
CareSpot is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our healthcare organization in providing patient-centric care in the Urgent Care space. As a Medical Assistant, you will support our providers in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

**Responsibilities:**
- Triage patients, record vitals, and update patients' charts
- Perform blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and complete lab work
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers
- Assist in setting up procedures and preparing treatment rooms
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, verify insurance, and collect payments

**Qualifications:**
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or relevant program OR active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation OR 6 months of relevant experience OR licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Preferably have recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic

**Requirements:**
- Graduate of Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist, or related program OR possess an active RMA/CMA designation OR High School/GED with 6 months of MA experience OR licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
