Bilingual Customer Service Representative - English/Spanish

Department: Billing/Revenue Cycle JAX - 5500
Location: Jacksonville

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative will strive to provide superior service while working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, call center environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position’s responsibilities consist of handling inbound and outbound calls including, but not limited to updates for patient addresses and insurance, resubmission of insurance claims, processing patient payments and processing online patient requests to billing and payment issues.

Experience, Skills and Education

  • 1 year of billing experience within a healthcare facility or insurance company
  • Must be bilingual - English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology
  • Ability to relay information in a positive format.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team or solo environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with practice management software and overall knowledge of MS Office.
  • Process/Detail Oriented.
  • Ability to treat patients with a level of customer service that is consistent with the CareSpot mission and values.
  • Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of PC software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) - https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
